I have always had a love for children, which is why I have dedicated my entire career to Early Childhood Education. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree from Kean University, where I studied Early Childhood Education. While attending college, I volunteered at a Head Start program, where I was subsequently hired as a Head Teacher’s Assistant. After graduating from college, I was promoted within the Head Start organization to become a Teacher, Head Teacher and then Building Administrator. I also worked as a Center Director at a private day care center and was eventually promoted to Education Director.
In my roles as Head Teacher, Building Administrator and Center Director, I was solely accountable for all of the administrative functions of the buildings. In addition, I was responsible for supervising all of the teachers and building staff as well as overseeing the curriculum development and implementation. I have also worked in the New Jersey public school system for a total of five years, where I held positions as a first grade teacher and a second grade teacher in an inclusion classroom. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two darling little angels, Brooke and Nicholas!
